Board Chair, Greg Kee called the meeting to order at 4:45p.m. <br />2. Mr James Belcher addressed the board about a private property on the Southeast side of 4`h SW that <br />looked unsightly, and didn't put off a good impression when coming into the district. <br />3. The election of a secretary was tabled. <br />4. A motion was made by Kari Daniel to approve the meeting minutes of April 2022 meeting, seconded by <br />Tyrone Hayden, motion carries. <br />5. The board discussed the Texas Downtown Association President awards, and it was decided that the <br />property located at 134 1" SW owned by Chris Dux be nominated as a best renovation project. <br />Information will be sent to Chris Dux and Glee Emmite to begin the process. <br />Greg is working on the Brochure for downtown new and newer business guide doing some proofing. <br />Glee gave a report on the Express Professionals Carriage and donations were received for the Downtown <br />lighting project. The PDA received $300 towards the project to light downtown. <br />Glee gave a brief report of the renovations going on in the historic district. <br />Becky Semple gave an update on all the activities the VCC and Chamber are managing. <br />Kari Daniel gave a report on the Christmas committee. They are looking at a cost of $2500 for storage <br />bins, tree stands, and lighting for an $18 ft tall tree and potentially projectors to put snowflakes on the <br />buildings. <br />The date was set for August 5 & 6"' for Mini Golf. <br />
