RESOLUTION NO. 84 -004 <br />WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Paris did <br />heretofore in Resolution No. 1993 authorize the contracting <br />with the Chamber of Commerce of Lamar County, Inc. to fund <br />the hotel occupancy tax funds for promoting and advertising <br />the City of Paris, and establish a program of work, which <br />contract expired on the 31st day of December 1983; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of extending the <br />term of said contract for sixty days to March 1, 1984, which <br />would be accomplished by Addendum No. 1 attached hereto as <br />Exhibit A; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, that the Mayor of the City of Paris, Joe Graham, be, <br />and he is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City <br />of Paris, Addendum No. 1 to contract with the Chamber of <br />Commerce of Lamar County, Inc, dated January, 1982, upon the <br />terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A <br />attached hereto. <br />Passed and adopted this 9th day of January, 1984. <br />W/ , i , /LI <br />'Ale' <br />--A <br />ATTEST: <br />i <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />T. ay es, ty Attorney <br />
