No bids for bulk hydrated lime were received prior <br />to the deadline, requiring another advertisement of bids. Hydrated lime bids were received and <br />publicly opened at 2:00 p.m. on 07/27/2022. <br />STATUS OF ISSUE: <br />Hydrated lime bids were advertised in The Paris News on 07/19/2022 and 07/26/2022, and <br />published on the City of Paris Department of Utilities website; bid packets were direct mailed to <br />three (3) vendors; two (2) vendors submitted bids for hydrated lime. Low bids received: Bulk <br />Lime, $252.21/ton, Texas Lime, Co.; Bagged Lime, $394.97/ton, Texas Lime, Co. The bid <br />tabulation is attached. All original bid documents are available for review in the office of the City <br />Clerk. <br />BUDGET: <br />Department 82 - Water Production 10-0211-82-00: $29,170.70. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Approve the low bids received for Hydrated Lime to be used in FY 2022/2023. <br />2. Deny the low bids received for Hydrated Lime to be used in FY 2022/2023. <br />
