Proposition L <br />Profostion L ballot language shall read: <br />Shall Sec. 67 of the Charter be amended to delete outdated language related to <br />appointment of a deputy director of finance? <br />❑ For <br />❑ Against <br />If Proposition L is approved by the voters on November 8, 2022, Sec. 67 of the Charter will <br />thereafter read as follows: <br />Sec. 67. Director of finance; appointment. <br />There shall be a department of finance, the head of which shall be the director <br />of finance, who shall be appointed by the city manager. <br />Proposition M <br />Pro osition M ballot lan:uage shall read: <br />Shall Subsection (5) of Sec. 69 of the Charter be amended to delete outdated language <br />regarding the Director of Finance's responsibilities of assessment of property in the City <br />for taxation? <br />❑ For <br />❑ Against <br />If Proposition M is approved by the voters on November 8, 2022, Sec. 69(5) of the Charter <br />will thereafter read as follows: <br />(5). Supervise and be responsible for special assessments within the city <br />as may be required by law; <br />Proposition N <br />Proposition, N ballot lan ua we shall read: <br />Shall Subsection 9 of Sec. 69 of the Charter, providing that the finance director act as a <br />purchasing agent, be deleted because it is outdated and reflects a practice that no longer <br />exists? <br />❑ For <br />❑ Against <br />If Proposition N is approved by the voters on November 8, 2022, Sec. 69(9) of the Charter <br />shall be deleted. <br />
