Item No. 10 <br />Vacant Building QuarterIv Report: Au gust 2022 <br />May, 2022 <br />44 properties were identified as Vacant Buildings: <br />* 3 of those properties had already came into compliance <br />15 of those properties were pending receipt for registration <br />• 26 of those properties had not responded to initial notices <br />Au,;ust, 2022: <br />32 of the 44 properties have come into compliance. <br />12 properties had not responded to initial notices or courtesy phone calls: <br />• Violation notices were sent to the owners of the 12 properties (6 of the <br />12 properties are owned by 2 individuals) <br />• Of the 12 violation notices that were sent, 5 owners who represent 7 <br />of the 12 non-compliant properties have responded. Three of those <br />owners are now in compliance with their properties, and the other two <br />owners are working towards compliance <br />3 owners who represent the other 5 of the 12 non-compliant properties <br />have not responded to the violation notices <br />As of 8/16/22, 37 of the 44 properties have come into compliance <br />Selte� 2022: <br />Any non-compliant owners who have not responded to the violation notices, or are <br />not working with the Community Development Department towards coming into <br />compliance, will be subject to a complaint filed in Municipal Court. <br />
