Paris Visitors and Convention Council Board of Directors Meeting <br />8 West Plaza <br />June 20, 2022 <br />4:00 PM <br />Members Present: Russell Jackson, John Bratcher, Kelli McDonald, Bryan Hargis, Ryan Whitaker, Lea <br />Emerson, Bud Mistry, Brad Hilliard, Bryan Hargis, Mark Pankaj, Trey Glascock, Dustin Broadway and Tim <br />Walsworth. <br />Staff Present: Paul Allen, Becky Semple and Gina Crawford. <br />Chadlee Johnston called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm. <br />Minutes: A motion to approve May minutes was made by Trey Glascock, seconded by Tim Walsworth. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />Financials: Russell Jackson presented the May financials. A motion to approve was made by Mark <br />Pankaj, seconded by Tim Walsworth. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Becky Semple presented a funding request from Daniel Garza for the Paris Body Art Expo on August 25- <br />28t" 2022. Based on the scoring criteria, a motion to approve $1898.00 was made by Mark Pankaj, <br />seconded by Tim Walsworth. Motion passed unanimously. <br />Old Business: Paul Allen stated we would like to help fund the downtown lighting project. A motion to <br />approve $5,000 from the non -hot account was made by Ryan Whitaker, seconded by Tim Walsworth. <br />Motion passed unanimously. The 903 Concert series starts on June 23 rd <br />Future business: Bryan Hargis stated that TMBRA may get moved to a February date and not a <br />September date for 2023. <br />Ad0ourn: Tim Walsworth made a motion to adjourn. <br />Meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Gina Crawford <br />
