I DECISION OF THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT, CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS RE: 423 N Main Street- Variance Request Marx Offutt 4808 CR 22880 Paris, TX 75460 ACTION REQUESTED: Variance to allow existing asphalt parking lot to remain. The above -reference request was granted in part with conditions by the City of Paris Zoning Board of Adjustment ("Board") on 9/6/2022 by a vote of ayes, ._ . 0 . _ nays and ................ abstaining. .m rabstaining. On this date, the Board found that the request met the conditions set forth in the Off - Street Parking and Loading Regulations, Section 10-110(a) of the City of Paris Zoning Ordinance. Appeal: Any interested person wishing to appeal this Board decision is required to file a petition for Writ of Certiorari in a district court, county court or county court at law within ten (10) days of the date this decision is filed in the Board's office consistent with section 211.011 of the Texas Local Government Code. The Board of Adjustment here by grants in part, the variance request based upon the following conditions and findings of fact. CONDITIONS: 1. Existing asphalt parking lot must be swept. 2. Existing asphalt parking lot must be seal coated. 3. The above conditions be completed prior to issuance of the Certificate of Occupancy. BOARD RECOMMENDED FINDINGS 1. The request for variance is in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the Zoning Ordinance and does maintain the spirit and intent of the Off -Street Parking Requirements which serve to promote a higher quality of appearance and safety for all commercial re- development projects within the community. 2.
