6. Dr. Hurt made the motion and was second by Ms. Pirtle to adopt a "Donation of
<br />Sick Leave" policy that will allow any full-time employee with a sick leave balance
<br />of 200 + hours to be eligible to donate up to 80 hours of their sick leave annually
<br />to another full-time employee who is subject to leave without pay due to
<br />extenuation circumstances. Motion carried. 4 yays, 0 nays.
<br />7. Mrs. Prestridge advised the board that Lamar County currently has approximately
<br />300 active COVID cases. The Paris -Lamar County Health District has been given 500
<br />free kits and purchased an additional 300 kits. PRMC has gone from 3 to 12
<br />patients over the last weekend. Zero monkey pox cases have been reported.
<br />8. Dr. Hurt made the motion and was seconded by Ms. Pirtle to accept the
<br />application of Dr. Amy Ballard Hughes to replace Dr. Marc White. Motion carried. 4
<br />yays, 0 nays.
<br />9. Dr. Putnam and Ms. Pirtle examined the bank statements ending May 31, 2022,
<br />and June 30, 2022, and signed off on both statements.
<br />10. Gina presented the board with reports from May 31, 2022, and June 30, 2022
<br />showing the total number of clients served, the number of restaurant and septic
<br />inspections and balance sheets.
<br />11. Gina presented the board with a list of 2023 holidays. Dr. Hurt made the motion
<br />and was seconded by Ms. Pirtle. Motion carried. 4 yays, 0 nays.
<br />12. Johnna McNeal with Malnory, McNeal and Company presented a Draft of the
<br />Annual Financial Report for the year ended on September 30, 2021. Findings were
<br />discussed and reviewed with the Board Members and Johnna stated she would
<br />issue a final report.
<br />13. Time and place of next meeting will be Monday, August 15th, 2022 @ 5:30 p.m.
<br />14. Dr. Hurt made the motion and was seconded by Ms. Pirtle for the meeting to be
