If Proposition I is approved by the voters on November 8, 2022, Sec. 55of the Charter will <br />thereafter read as follows: <br />Sec. 55.Effective date of budget; certification; copies made available. <br />Upon final adoption, the budget shall be in effect for the fiscal year. A copy of the budget, <br />as finally adopted, shall be filed with the city clerk.The final budget shall be printed, and <br />a reasonable number of copies shall be made available for the use of all offices, departments <br />and agencies and for the use of interested persons and civic organizations. <br />Proposition J <br />Proposition J ballot language shall read: <br />Shall Sec. 59 of the Charter be amendedto delete reference to the National Committee on <br />Municipal Accounting, which no longer exists? <br />If Proposition J is approved by the voters on November 8, 2022, Sec. 59of the Charter will <br />thereafter read as follows: <br />Sec. 59.Estimated expenditures shall not exceed estimated resources. <br />The total estimated expenditures of the general fund and debt service fund shall not <br />exceed the total estimated resources of each fund (prospective income plus cash on <br />hand). The classification of revenue and expenditure accounts shall conform as <br />nearly as local conditions will permit to the uniform classification as promulgated <br />by anationally accepted classification program. <br />Proposition K <br />Proposition K ballot language shall read: <br />Shall Sections 61 through 66 of the Charter be amended to delete outdated language <br />regarding the City’s authority to borrow money and to replace it, as Sec. 61 only, with <br />language that is consistent with current law and financial practices? <br />t <br />If Proposition K is approved by the voters on November 8,2022, Sec. 61 of the Charter will <br />thereafter read as followsand Sections 62, 63, 64, 65, and 66 shall be deleted: <br />Sec. 61.
