If Proposition M is approved by the voters on November 8, 2022, Sec. 69(5) of the Charter will <br />thereafter read as follows: <br />(5).Supervise and be responsible for special assessments within the cityas may <br />be required by law; <br />Proposition N <br />Proposition N ballot language shall read: <br />Shall Subsection 9 of Sec. 69 of the Charter, providing that the finance director act as a <br />purchasing agent,be deleted because it is outdated and reflects a practice that no longer <br />exists? <br />If Proposition N is approved by the votersonNovember 8, 2022, Sec. 69(9) of the Charter shall <br />be deleted. <br />Proposition O <br />Proposition O ballot language shall read: <br />Shall Sec. 79 of the Charter be amended to provide that the City Council shall determine <br />the appropriate date that tax anticipation notes shall mature and be payable? <br />If Proposition O is approved by the voters on November 8, 2022, Sec. 79 of the Charter will <br />thereafter read as follows: <br />Sec. 79.Borrowing in anticipation of property taxes. <br />In any fiscal year, in anticipation of the collection of the property tax for such year, <br />whether levied or to be levied in such year, the council may by resolution authorize <br />the borrowing of money by the issuance of negotiable notes of the city, each of <br />which shall be designated “tax anticipation note for the year 20___” (stating the <br />budget year).
