Proposition O <br />%ua <br />r <br />ProPosition 0 ballot lane..e shall read: <br />Shall Sec. 79 of the Charter be amended to provide that the City Council shall determine <br />the appropriate date that tax anticipation notes shall mature and be payable? <br />❑ For <br />❑ Against <br />If Proposition 0 is approved by the voters on November 8, 2022, Sec. 79 of the Charter will <br />thereafter read as follows: <br />Sec. 79. Borrowing in anticipation of property taxes. <br />In any fiscal year, in anticipation of the collection of the property tax for such <br />year, whether levied or to be levied in such year, the council may by resolution <br />authorize the borrowing of money by the issuance of negotiable notes of the <br />city, each of which shall be designated "tax anticipation note for the year 20_" <br />(stating the budget year). Such notes shall mature and be payable on a date to <br />be determined by the council. <br />Proposition P <br />Pro osition P ballot language shall read: <br />Shall Sec. 80 of the Charter be amended to provide that the City Council shall determine <br />the date that negotiable notes of the City shall mature and be payable? <br />❑ For <br />❑ Against <br />If Proposition P is approved by the voters on November 8, 2022, Sec. 80 of the Charter will <br />thereafter read as follows: <br />Sec. 80. Borrowing in anticipation of other revenues. <br />In any fiscal year, in anticipation of the collection or receipt of other revenues <br />of that budget year, the council may by resolution authorize the borrowing of <br />money by the issuance of negotiable notes of the city, each of which shall be <br />designated "special revenue note for the year 20_" (stating the budget year). <br />Such notes may be renewed from time to time, but all such notes, together with <br />the renewals, shall mature and be payable on a date to be determined by the <br />council. <br />
