Vine, Assistant City Manager <br />SUBJECT: Pridemore Construction Agreement for the southern boat ramp construction <br />at Lake Crook <br />DATE: November 14, 2022 <br />BACKGROUND: On October 24, 2022, the City Council approved the awarding of the bid for <br />the construction of the southern boat ramp at Lake Crook submitted by Pridemore Construction <br />for $88,490. <br />STATUS OF ISSUE: Staff has drafted an agreement between the City and Pridemore <br />Construction that details the scope of work along with other key factors to be signed by both <br />parties before the project begins. <br />BUDGET: The bid from Pridemore and the agreement detailing the completion of this project <br />is $88,490. This project is eligible for funding from the Hotel Occupancy Tax. The City will be <br />responsible for 80%, $70,792.00, of this project and the Lamar County Chamber of Commerce <br />will be responsible for 20%, $17,698.00. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the authorization of the agreement with Pridemore <br />Construction for the construction of the southern boat ramp at Lake Crook. <br />
