Make periodic visits to the site of the work during <br />construction and consult with the City concerning <br />progress, and administer the project both in the <br />office and in the field. <br /> <br />7. Interpret the meaning of the contract documents) <br />as necessary. <br /> <br />8. Prepare change orders to the contract documents, <br />as necessary. <br /> <br />9. Act as initial arbiter in disputes between City <br />and construction contractor. <br /> <br />10. Revise drawings to conform to construction records and <br />furnish one set of reproducible revised drawings to the City. <br /> <br />C. SUPPLEMENTAL SERVICES <br /> <br />1. Any additional work requested by the City that is not in- <br />cluded in one of the items listed in this Appendix A will <br />be classified as supplemental services. <br /> <br />2. Supplemental services shall include but are not limited to: <br /> <br />o Additional meetings with State or Federal agencies <br />to discuss the project. <br /> <br />o Supplemental engineering work required to meet the <br />requirements of regulatory or funding agencies that <br />become effective subsequent to the date of this <br />agreement. <br /> <br />o Special consultants requested or authorized by the City. <br /> <br />o Assistance with bid protests, preparation for litigatio~, <br />appearance in court, or other legal actions. <br /> <br />o Laboratory testing during construction. <br /> <br />A-2 <br />
