124 MINUTES OF THE PARIS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION ANNUAL MEET ING June 14, 1995 The Paris Economic Development Corporation met in a regular meeting on Wednesday, June 14, 1995, at 4:00 P.M., in the City Hall North Annex, Fire Training Room, Paris, Texas. President Philip Cecil called the meeting to order with the following board Members present: Dick Amis, Curtis Fendley, Leon Williams, and Barney Bray. Also present were ex-officio board members, Bobby Walters, Bill Vaughan, Ike Jewett, Gary Vest, Economic Development Director, Eric Clifford, Mayor, Michael E. Malone, City Manager and T. K. Haynes, City Attorney as Counselor. President Cecil stated that the Board e!ected officers in July of last year and there was a question as to whether the officers were to be elected in June or wait until July. After discussion, it was the consensus of the Board to elect officers at this meeting. President Cecil opened the floor for nominations for President of the Board with the term of office to begin in July, 1995, through June, 1996. Board member Curtis Fendley made a motion, seconded by Board member Barney Bray, nominating Philip Cecil for President. Mr. Cecil was elected to the office of president on a unanimous vote. Chairman Cecil asked for nominations for Vice President. Board member Dick Amis made a motion, seconded by Barney Bray, nominating Curtis Fend!ey for Vice President. Mr. Fend!ey was elected to the position of Vice President on a unanimous vote. Chairman Cecil asked for nominations for Secretary/Treasurer. Boardmember Barney Bray made a motion, seconced by Boardmember Leon Williams nominating Dick Amis for Secretary/Treasurer Mr. Amis was elected to the position of Secretary/Treasurer on unanimous vote.
