City of Paris. Mayor Portugal convened City Council into executive session at 7:10 p.m. 32. Reconvene into open session and possibly take action on'matters discussed in executive session. Mayor Portugal reconvenedCity Council into open session at 8:08 p.m. With regard to the first item listed under; executive'session, Mayor Portugal said there was no action to be taken. With regard to the Houchins matter, a Motion to approve the settlement negotiated at mediation subject to obtaining a survey,conveymg an appropriate easement approved by the City Manager and legal counsel and to approve.the City Manager to execute a settlement agreement approved by the City Attorney and defense'counse, was made by Council AMember Savage and seconded by Council Member. Motion carried, 7 ayes — 0 nays. 33. Consider and approve future:. events for City Council and/or City Staff pursuant to Resolution No. 2004-081. There were no future events referenced. 34. Adjournment. There being no further business, a Motion to adjourn was made by Council Member Pilgrim and seconded by Council Member Savage. Mayor Portugal adjourned the meeting at 8:09 P.M.
