482 <br /> <br /> <br />President Rhodes stated the next item on the agenda concerned an incentive <br />agreement with Lansing Grain Company, and he asked Mr. Vest to discuss this <br />item. Mr. Vest said that representatives of Lansing Grain Company contacted <br />him several months ago regarding building a facility where trucked grain could <br />be placed on railcars for shipment out of Paris. Mr. Vest said that Lansing Grain <br />Company has created four jobs at this location and spent $65,000.00 in.. <br />construction of the facility. Mr. Vest said that Lansing Grain Company asked if <br />P.E.D.C. would make a contribution based on the flexible incentive plan, and he <br />advised them that upon completion of the facility and it was operational that he <br />would make this request to the Board. He stated that this resolution is <br />requesting that the board make a contribution of $6,000.00 to this facility. <br /> <br /> Resolution 99-008-approving the execution of an incentive agreement with <br /> Lansing Grain Company for the provision of a trans-load facility to provide for the <br /> direct transfer of truck grain to rail hopper cars on the Kiamichi Railroad. <br /> President Rhodes read the resolution. <br /> <br /> Boardmember Dick Amis made a motion, seconded by Boardmember Jay Guest <br /> that this resolution be adopted, and the Board voted unanimously to adopt the <br /> resolution. <br /> <br /> <br />
