NOTICE OF CONSIDERATION OF TAX ABATEMENT AGREEMENT Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Paris shall meet in regular session at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023 to consider a potential residential tax abatement agreement as set forth below. The meeting will be held at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman Street, in Paris, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted upon are as follows: 1. Owner of Property_: Amesta Packaging, LLC Ap licant: Amesta Packaging, LLC 2. The Name and Location of the Reinvestment Zone: Pursuant to the 2022 Census, the Property within City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, is included within an Enterprise Zone, which pursuant to the Texas Enterprise Zone Act (Texas Government Code Chapter 2303) and the Redevelopment and Tax Abatement Act (Texas Tax Code Sec. 312.2011) also constitutes designation of the area as a reinvestment zone. The reinvestment zone is located in NW Paris in 2022 Census Tract 277000600. A General Description of the Nature of the hnnrrJvements or Repairs: Conversion of an existing facility for manufacturing and packaging of sweeteners and sugars via installation of specialized, high-speed packaging lines. 4. The Estimated Cost of the Improvements or Rem s $3,500,000.00--$6,500,000.00.
