In conformance with V.T.C.A., Local Government Code, chapter <br />214, subchapter G, sections 214.211 through 214.214, the 2044 2020 National Electrical <br />Code shall be and is hereafter adopted as the municipal commercial electrical <br />construction code for the city. The 2014 2020 National Electrical Code shall apply to all <br />commercial electrical construction applications within the city. The city council may <br />establish procedures to adopt local amendments to the National Electrical Code and for <br />the administration and enforcement of the National Electrical Code. <br />(c) Coae son file. Copies of the 2014 2020 National Electrical Code will be maintained on <br />file in the office of the planning and development department, and the provisions <br />thereof shall be controlling as set out herein in the construction of all buildings and <br />other structures within the corporate limits of the city. <br />56 <br />
