MINUTES OF THE PARIS VISITORS AND CONVENTION COUNCIL MEETING <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />March 20, 2023 <br />The Paris Visitors and Convention Council of the City of Paris met for a regular session at <br />4:00 p.m. on March 20, 2023, at the Lamar County Chamber of Commerce board room, 8 West <br />Plaza, Paris, TX. <br />Present: Board Members: Trey Glascock, Bryan Hargis, Bud Mistry, Tim Walsworth, Kelli <br />McDonald, Eric Guillot, Bradley Hilliard, Chadlee Johnston and Chase Coleman. <br />City Representatives: Paula Portugal <br />Absent: Board Members <br />Whitaker and Robbie Todd <br />1. Call meeting to order. <br />Dustin Broadway, Trevor Huie, Mihir Pankaj, Ryan <br />Chadlee Johnston called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. <br />2. Citizens' Forum. <br />There was no one present for citizens' forum. <br />3. Approve minutes from the meeting of February 21, 2023. A motion to approve was <br />made by Eric Guillot, seconded by Tim Walsworth. Motion carried. 8 ayes, 0 nays. <br />4. Receive financial report from February 2023, by Chase Coleman. A motion to approve <br />was made by Tim Walsworth, seconded by Bud Mistry. Motion carried. 8 ayes. 0 nays. <br />5. Discuss and act on funding request for Uncle Jesse Big Bass Classic, May 6, 2023. Based <br />on the scoring criteria a motion to approve $1600 was made by Tim Walsworth, seconded <br />by Trey Glascock Motion carried. 8 ayes. O nays. <br />6. Discuss and act on funding request for Tx Power Lift Championship, April 15, 2023. <br />Based on the scoring criteria a motion to approve $1675 was made by Trey Glascock, <br />seconded by Eric Guillot. Motion carried. 8 ayes. 0 nays. <br />7. Discussion. Randall King Concert will be on March 30''. UCI Pump Track Event on April <br />28-29, 2023, ASA bringing about 700 archery shooters, May 17-21, 2023, Jet Ski race at <br />Lake Crook, June 2-4, 2023 and the 903 Sunset series will be back in June. <br />8. Adjournment. <br />
