WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has found that construction of the <br />Public Line constitutes a public purpose in that it will support the construction of <br />Developer's Facility and the capital investment and job creation associated therewith as well <br />as future growth and development in the Industrial Park. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, TEXAS, THAT: <br />Section 1. The findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all <br />things approved. <br />Section 2. That the terms of the Development Agreement will lead to the <br />economic development in the City. <br />Section 3. That the terms and conditions of the proposed Development Agreement <br />attached hereto as Exhibit A, having been reviewed by the City Council of the City of Paris <br />and found to be acceptable and in the best interests of the City of Paris and its citizens, be, <br />and the same are hereby, in all things approved. <br />Section 4. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the <br />Development Agreement on behalf of the City of Paris in a form substantially conforming <br />with the terms and conditions set forth in the Development Agreement attached hereto as <br />Exhibit A. <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this 22nd day of May, 2023. <br />Reginald B.
