summer. Andrew Mack shared a concern that garbage cans were overflowing at the <br />Margarita Crawl. <br />Receive Activity Report from Glee Emmite regarding HPC. The last meeting Cheri <br />Bedford recognized Linda Knox, the City Council Liaison to HPC. Mary Ann Lester <br />represented 136 Grand Ave with a request to remove the fiagade. The storage building at <br />401 1st St SE will become a Montessori school with an iron and canvas fence. Ellen <br />Green presented documentation for 643 3rd St to receive tax exemption. <br />Receive Activity Report from Becky Semple, Chamber Liaison. This weekend is Imagine <br />the Possibilities and a Quilt Show at the Civic Center. Next week is an Archery <br />Tournament. The 903 concert series in June on 4 Thursday evenings. <br />Receive Activity Report from Andrew Mack on Fanners Market Summer Event. Andrew <br />Mack, Kris Estep (5380 Tates Trail Reno, Texas 75462), Greg Kee and Chad Lindsey <br />serve on committee. The Paris Arts Alliance will set up an art fair beginning at noon. <br />Music in the evening. Iron Communities, represented by Kris Estep, will get the permit <br />for beverages sold at event and the music for entertainment that evening. Looking for a <br />stage or trailer. Sound is booked. Stage will be on south side parking area with stage <br />facing pavilion. 6:30 — 8:30p.m. July 28th. Food Trucks will be invited. Next planning <br />meeting needs to be scheduled. <br />5. Receive Main Street Coordinator's Report from Cheri Bedford. Working on a grant for a <br />bike lane from bike trail to downtown. Cheri presented a map of proposed bike lanes to <br />connect. There are two bike racks on the plaza. Letter will be drafted by Cheri to be <br />signed by Greg Kee, Chairman. Kari Daniel made a motion to support, Chad Lindsey <br />seconded. Motion carried, 7 ayes — 0 nays. <br />Cheri submitted the quarterly Main St report, please review. Cheri would like to meet <br />with Greg Kee, Glee Eminite and Tracy Dougherty to provide input for the June report. <br />Cheri is working on Salsa on the Square and the Hatch Chili Fest, Saturday, September <br />2" d . The founder of the Chili Fest would like to meet to discuss any changes. A musician <br />has been reserved. A mobile bar, if desired, needs to be figured out. She is in touch with <br />agencies that teach salsa. Glee volunteered to be on the committee. <br />The Imagine the Possibilities tour highlights vacant, for sale or for lease buildings. Coke <br />floats and a picnic on the plaza. There is a Historic Marker Dedication at 12:30. <br />The City of Denison, TX is host for Main Street training this year. Free training for <br />board members — June 20"' Tuesday, night — Friday morning. <br />The Farmer's Market opened last Saturday. Beautiful day, overflow area was used. <br />Signing up and paying was much easier with the on line tool. <br />6. The meeting was adjourned by Greg Kee, Chairman at 5:30p.m. <br />
