Mayer Addition Lot <br />12A, Block 1 <br />DATE: June 26, 2023 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The applicant requests approval of a replat for the H. P. Mayer Addition in order to establish a <br />building site for the development of a residence. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends approval of the replat subject to the following conditions: <br />1. An accurate boundary survey of the property... - Chapter 9A, V, (7) <br />a. While a point of beginning (P.O.B.) is listed in the legend, the point of beginning <br />(P.O.B.) is not noted in the drawing. <br />b. There is a typo in the third paragraph of the field notes that shall be corrected. While <br />the field notes state, "Thence South 87°28'09" East", the bearing on the drawing <br />states, "S87°26'09" E " <br />c. The dimension from the centerline of the road could be read as either 20 or 26. This <br />shall be clarified. <br />d. What appears to be a ROW dedication along 30th Street shall be labeled as such. <br />2. The location, size and approximate depth of all existing utilities shall be shown. — Chapter <br />9A, IV, (7) <br />a. A replat has the same requirements as a final plat and as such does not require utility <br />locations to be shown unless requested by the City Engineer. If they are shown, <br />then a note explaining how utility locations were collected shall be included. If a <br />method other than an 811 request was used for underground utilities, then a <br />disclaimer shall be included noting that the actual utility locations have not been <br />verified. <br />
