Memorandum <br />Item 16 <br />TO: Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem and City Council <br />Grayson Path, City Manager <br />FROM: Todd Mittge, City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Consideration of and action on the Final Plat of Preston Trails Lot 1, Block A <br />DATE: September 13, 2023 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The applicant requests approval of a final plat for Preston Trails Lot 1, Block A in order to establish <br />a building site for a duplex. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends approval of the final plat subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The submission to and tentative approval of a preliminary plat by the Commission shall <br />be a condition precedent to the preparation of a final plat. Chapter 9A, V Final Plat: <br />a. Any conditions of approval for the preliminary plat shall be revised before final <br />approval of final plat. <br />2. An accurate boundary survey of the property, with bearings and distances referenced to <br />survey lines and established subdivisions, with complete and accurate field notes of said <br />boundaries. Chapter 9A, V Final Plat, (7) <br />a. Bearings shall be included for all property lines. <br />
