Building and Standards Meeting <br />September 18, 2023 <br />Page 3 <br />Andrew Mack: Demolishing this structure will be a higher priority due to the fire <br />damage. <br />Motion made by Mike Folmar, seconded by Reeves Hayter, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 6-0 <br />F. 1504 E Washington; Willis Block B, Lot lA <br />Owner: William R Freeman — present — 2860 Sunnyvale, TX 75182 <br />Robert Talley stated no repairs have been done in quite some time. Fire damage and <br />holes in roof. Roof is also collapsed in some areas. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days, or city <br />has right to do so. <br />Andrew Mack: Demolishing this structure will be a higher priority due to the fire <br />damage. <br />William R Freeman: Stated that the metal barn on property was structurally fine <br />and did not need to be demolished with the house. Robert Talley assured that the <br />demo order would only be for the house and not additional structures on property. <br />Motion made by Reeves Hayter, seconded by Kim Walker, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 6-0 <br />A. 1155 Van Zandt; City Block 174-A, Lot 16 <br />Owner: Clarene Holt — P.O. Box 78327 Seattle, WA 98178 <br />Robert Talley stated he has had no contact with owner. Structure is sinking, holes in <br />roof and roof is collapsing. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo within 30 days, or city <br />has right to do so. <br />Motion made by Reeves Hayter, seconded by Mike Folmar, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 6-0 <br />B. 1005 E Booth; Marrysville Block 2, Lot 16 <br />This item was pulled with no action due to the structure has been torn down and <br />cleaned up. <br />
