ITEM A-2 <br />STANDARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT <br />STATE OF TEXAS § <br />§ KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br />COUNTY OF LAMAR § <br />THIS CONTRACT is made and entered into on this the day of 20 <br />by and between the City of Paris (hereinafter referred to as "OWNER") <br />and Lloyd D. Nabors Demolition LLC (hereinafter referred to as "CONTRACTOR"). In consideration of the mutual <br />covenants hereinafter set forth, the OWNER and CONTRACTOR agree as follows: <br />Article I. Work <br />The CONTRACTOR shall perform all of the work as specified in the Contract Documents. The work is generally <br />described as follows: <br />- Demolition of the Belford Building, which is a reinforced concrete 4 -story building with a single -story <br />basement. <br />- Demolition of the one-story building at 230 South Main Street. <br />- Removal of all construction materials and debris. <br />- Removal of existing foundations down to the depth indicated in drawings. <br />- Import soil and compact the soil to bring the grade elevation of the property to approximately street -level. <br />- Construct a brick wall, using bricks salvaged from the demolition, to a height of 8 feet above the curb along <br />Main Street. <br />Plans and Specifications prepared by: Jason Hart Enr wineerinc PLLC, 15305 Dallas,Rgrkwa , 12th Floor Addison, <br />tHart 'ha�rtengineerino.com. <br />Texas 75O0µ1, Contac,,,,,,,, . Jasomn_mm�,�hart@ <br />All extra work shall be performed as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents; and, at the CONTRACTOR's <br />own cost and expense, the CONTRACTOR shall furnish all the materials, supplies, machinery, equipment, tools, <br />superintendence, labor, insurance, and other accessories and services as may be necessary in order to complete the <br />construction, as described above and in accordance with the Contract Documents unless otherwise agreed to by the <br />OWNER. <br />Article II. Contract Documents <br />The Contract Documents may only be altered, amended or modified as provided in the Specifications Item <br />104 — Scope of Work.The Contract Documents consist of: this written agreement setting forth the work to be <br />performed; advertisement, if any; instructions to bidders, if any; proposal; addendum; Demolition Drawings; any <br />supplemental changes or agreements pertaining to the work or materials therefor; bonds; the Specifications and <br />any additional documents incorporated by reference.
