The airport put in an application with the FAA for a LED lighting upgrade for the airfield. The application was submitted in January 2023 with an expected answer in April 2023. PRX was not elected for this project. A total of 453 applications were submitted, only 79 applications were selected by the FAA. • Runway Project Update Runway project is scheduled for summer 2024; airport was originally told late summer 2023. The rescheduling was due to manpower at the TXDOT level. 13 core samples were taken on RWY 17135 during August 2023. After examining the samples this will give the engineers an understanding of bow well the runway has held up since the last runway rehab project. The runway was NOTAM closed during this sampling. Hayter Engineering will be surveying the runway, this will take up to 2 days to complete. A project meeting with Lochner Engineering,, TXDOT, and the airport was,held in August 2023, this meeting was to discuss the scheduling of events that needs to take place in order to do the runway project. • North Hangars. Update KSA provided a. rendering of the proposed project. The private developer will need to agree with the overall dollar amount for KSA to do the project. Once the agreement has been made, an agreement -will need to be brought before council prior to any type of construction is started. • Commercial Lease for the airport PRX does not have an updated commercial lease for the airport. The Airport Advisory Board and Airport discussed that having an approved commercial lease would be a smart decision for the airport in the advent of abusiness wanting to be. based at PRX. 5.
