MINUTES OF THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION MEETING <br />OFTIIE CITYOF PARIS, TEXAS <br />JANUARY 03, 2024 <br />The Planning & Zoning Commission of the City of Paris met for a regular session at 5:30 p.m. on <br />Wednesday, January 03, 2024, in the City Hall, Council Chambers, 107 East Kauftnan, Paris, <br />Texas., <br />Board Members Present: Clifton Fendley, Chance Abbott, Adam Bolton, Tylesha <br />Ross Mosley, Francine Heeley, Robert Spain <br />City Representatives: Duke McGee, Building Official;Tfiniti Frazier, Community <br />Development Coordinator; 'rodd Mittge, City Engineer; <br />Robert Vine, Deputy City Manager; Doug.flawns, Asst. City <br />Manager, Stephanie Harris, City Attorney; Clyde Crews, <br />Fire Marshal <br />Board Member(s) Absent: Chad Lindsey <br />I . Call meeting to order, <br />Chairman Clifton Fendley called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />2. Citizens' forum. <br />(Persons desiring to address the Planning and Zoning Commission must limit their <br />presentation to no more than two minutes. Unless an item is posted on the Agenda, the <br />Texas Open :Meetings Act prohibits the Commission from responding to any comments <br />other than to refer the matter to a future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person <br />with specific :factual information. Claims against the City, Council Members, or <br />employees, as well as individual personal appeals are not appropriate for the citizens' <br />forum) <br />The citizens' forum was declared open. With no one speaking the forum was declared <br />closed. <br />3. Approve minutes from the meeting of December 04, 2023. <br />A Motion to approve the minutes was made by Board Member Chance Abbott and <br />seconded by Board MemberAdam Bolton. Motion carried, 6 ayes - 0 nays. <br />4. Conduct a public hearing and take action regarding the petition of Nathan Spaulding for Lone <br />Star Planned Developments, LLC on behalf of Covenant Christian Church for a <br />Comprehensive an Amendment for a split land use of Low Density Residential (LD R.) and <br />
