MINUTES OF THE LOVE CIVIC CENTER BOARD MEETING <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />July 13, 2023 <br />The Love Civic Center Board of the City of Paris met for a regular session at 12:15 p.m. on <br />Thursday, July 13, 2023, at the Love Civic Center, 2025 S. Collegiate. <br />Present: Board Members: Trey Peeples, Colton Perry, Gary Flynn, Levi Graham, <br />Brittany Johnson, Owen Jobe, Peggy McClaren, Robert Staples, Chase <br />Coleman. <br />City Representatives: None. <br />Absent: Board Members: Scott Avery, Curtis Fendley, Shaneka Scott and Wally <br />Kraft. <br />Call meeting to order. <br />Gina Crawford, Chamber Director of Operations, called the meeting to order at 12:16 p.m. <br />2. Citizens' Forum. <br />No one present. <br />3. Approve minutes from the meeting of May 11, 2023, a motion to approve this item was made by <br />Chase Coleman, seconded by Colton Perry, motion carried, 9 ayes, 0 nays. <br />4. Receive financial report from Chase Coleman, a motion to approve this item was made by Trey <br />Peeples, seconded by Levi Graham. Motion carried, 9 ayes, 0 nays. <br />One of the original AC units went out, so we are replacing it for up to 12K. Crestron finally <br />completed the HVAC panel. We are getting bids to get completely up to fire code. The <br />mullions/magnetic release are estimated to be around $4600, but could go up to $6500, to have all <br />of this installed is WK. A motion to approve was made by Chase Coleman, seconded by Owen <br />Jobe. Motion carried, 9 ayes, 0 nays. <br />6. Gina Crawford stated that the Tour de Paris will be on July 15 and the 903 Sunset Series was a <br />huge success. <br />Adjournment. <br />There being no further business, A Motion to adjourn was made by Board Member Trey Peeples, <br />seconded by Board Member Robert Staples.
