Item No. 13 <br />TO: Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem and City Council <br />Grayson Path, City Manager <br />FROM: Todd Mittge, City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Consideration of and action on the Final Plat of the Huhtamaki West Center <br />Addition Block A, Lot 1, LCAD 53591 and 53657, located at 800 W Center <br />DATE: February 26, 2024 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The applicant requests approval of a final plat in order to construct improvements to a box <br />manufacturing plant for food products. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends approval of the final plat with the following conditions: <br />1. The submission to and tentative approval of a preliminary plat by the Commission shall be a <br />condition precedent to the preparation of a final plat. Chapter 9A, V Final Plat: <br />a. Any conditions of approval for the preliminary plat shall be revised before final approval <br />of final plat. <br />2. Location of Proposed lots, streets, ....minimum finished floor elevations for each lot in the <br />subdivision and other features required by the City Engineer.... Chapter 9A, V Final Plat, (8): <br />a. Add existing building footprint and existing finished floor elevations to the plat. Add <br />proposed building footprint, and finished floor elevation to the plat. <br />3. Certification by a surveyor... Chapter 9A, V Final Plat, (13): <br />a. Remove "Preliminary" on Survey signature area and sign when all conditions are met. <br />
