Receive Report from the Airport Manager. <br />Ali10S Upgrade Update <br />The amount for the upgrade was placed into the airport budget; after coordinating the upgrade it <br />was diseov%%red that the, FAA had misidentified PRX AWOS, the AW0$ did not need upgrading. <br />After yvritying this information, the project was cancelled. <br />Aircraft Tucking System <br />ie...ltea I; e smaller airports to have an aircraft tracking system to track all aircraft into <br />aaa out ol' a;_, -ports. this reformation can have a positive effect on the funding the airport receives. <br />They have placed this service onto their RAMP eligible items. This year TXDOT will pay for 50% <br />of the total cost for this system; moving forward TXDOT is hoping to move the cost to a 90/10 <br />split.. Tho airport selected 1200.Aero for our tracking company. Since; -the airport is a first time <br />cus oino!% tate airport received 3 months free for this service witha remaining balance of $900 <br />($1200 per year} k ith 50% of that cost ($450) being covered by TXDOT.
