Approve RESOLUTION NO. 2024-016: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING A PARTIAL WAIVER OF THE <br />PARIS HOUSING AUTHORITY ("PHA") OF THE CITY OF PARIS' 2023 <br />PAYMENT IN LIEU OF TAXES ("PILOT"); MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND <br />PROVISIONS RELATED OT THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />12. Approve the Final Plat of the Kilian Addition, Block A, Lot 1, LCAD 117490, located in <br />the 2300 Block of N.E. Loop 286/Spur 139. <br />13. Approve the Final Plat of the Huhtamaki West Center Addition, Block A, Lot 1, LCAD <br />53591 and 53657, located at 800 W. Center. <br />14. Approve RESOLUTION NO. 2024-017: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE RETURN OF A PORTION OF <br />A $200,000.00 DONATION FROM THE PHILIP AND SALLY CECIL <br />FOUNDATION, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $166,790.00; MAKING OTHER <br />FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />15. Approve the low bid of $430,970.42 from Core & Main, LP for material to be used in the <br />three (3) water line looping projects; and authorize the City Manager to execute all <br />necessary documents. <br />Regular Agenda <br />16. Convene into Executive Session pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government <br />Code, Consultation with Attorney, to receive legal advice from the City Attorney about <br />(1) pending or contemplated litigation and/or (2) on matters in which the duty of an <br />attorney to her client under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the <br />State Bar of Texas clearly conflict with this chapter, to -wit: City of Paris v. Essent <br />PRMC. <br />Mayor Hughes called for a Motion to remove this item from the table.
