building. Commissioner Dougherty made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Coyle to <br />approve the grant in the amount of $1,000. <br />11. HPO Bedford reported that she is working on the Certified Local Government annual report <br />to the THC. She had a meeting with the property owners around the First Street <br />rehabilitation project. HPO Bedford will be transitioning out of her position with HPC and <br />will be replaced by Duke McGee, City of Paris Building Official. She became HPO in 2015 <br />with Joey Sleeper former Building Official resigned. HPO Bedford reported that <br />Commissioner White has resigned from the HPC due to other obligations. Alternate <br />Commissioner Les Schumake has also resigned since he has relocated to Sherman. The CLG <br />grant to fiend two registrations to the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions <br />conference in West Palm Beach Florida. Commissioners Coyle and Dougherty will attend <br />along with either HPO Bedford or in -coming HPO McGee. THC will continue to offer <br />review of signs but will no longer design them for grant purposes. Wine Fest is April 13, <br />2024. The proceeds from Wine Fest fund grants for building improvements. The city <br />continues to plan events for the 2024 Solar Eclipse. Liberty National Bank has sponsored the <br />signs advertising this event. Lena Spencer painted the signs. One of the events planned the <br />weekend before include a traveling Planetarium. <br />12.
