MINUTES OF THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />March 25, 2024 <br />The City Council of the City of Paris met for a regular session at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, <br />March 25, 2024, at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman, Paris, Texas. <br />Present: <br />Absent: <br />Opening Agenda <br />Mayor Pro -Tem: Mihir Pankaj <br />Council Members: Shatara Moore, Gary Savage, Rebecca Norment, and <br />Rudy Kessel <br />City Staff: Grayson Path, City Manager; Robert Vine, Deputy <br />City Manager; Doug Harris, Assistant City Manager; <br />Stephanie Harris, City Attorney; Janice Ellis, City <br />Clerk; Gene Anderson; Finance Director; Randy <br />Tuttle, Assistant Police Chief; Todd Mittge, City <br />Engineer; Duke McGee, Building Official; and <br />Clyde Crews, Fire Marshal <br />Mayor: <br />Council Member: <br />1. Call meeting to order. <br />Reginald B. Hughes <br />Clayton Pilgrim <br />Mayor Pro -Tem Pankaj called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br />2. Invocation. <br />Finance Director Gene Anderson gave the invocation. <br />3. United States Pledge of Allegiance & Texas Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Mayor Pro -Tem Pankaj led the United States Pledge of Allegiance and the Texas Pledge <br />of Allegiance. <br />4. Citizens' Forum. <br />Carolyn Williams, Paris, Texas — she said she did not think she should have to give her full <br />social security number to the Police when they came to her house. She also said she was assessed <br />a lien against her property by the City for mowing and they did not mow the lot on Van Zandt <br />Street by True Vine Church. She said the City ended up dropping the lien. <br />Nita Sharon Smith, 925 Medalist — she said her neighborhood was made up of senior <br />citizens and they placed their trashcans in the alley. She also said that CARDS was destroying <br />
