MINUTES OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS MEETING March 19, 2024 The Housing Authority of the City of Paris, Texas Board of Commissioners met for a Regular BOARD MEETING at 12:30p.m. On Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the Housing Authority of the City of Paris, Texas, 650 7th SW —Office, Conference Room, Paris, Texas 75460. Present: Board Members: Jenny Wilson'. Vice Chairman Steve Smith Derrick Hill Beverly Johnson (via phone till I :p 17pm) City Representatives,: None Housing Authority Employees., Elizabeth Brooks Pam Adams 0 Patricia Pridemore Absent: Board Members: TK Haynes I'D Call meeting to order, Jenny Wilson, Vice Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, called the meeting to order at 12:35 p.m. 2. Quorum and members verified by Jenny Wilson, Vice Chairman. 3. Citizens' For -um. No one present or requested to speak,, 4. Approve minutes from the meeting of February 13, 2024. A Motion to approve this item was made by Board Member Steve Smith and seconded by Board Member Derrick Hill. Motion carried, 4 ayes — 0 nays. 5. Auditor presentation was moved up on the agenda as a courtesy,, PresentatiPresentationby Lori A. Cannon, CPA Auditor for the Paris Housing Authority. Ms Cannon discussed various aspects of how the audit was conducted, what information 10 was audited and her roles and responsibilities were as the auditor. Then reported it was a very clean audit with NO significant deficiencies, NO material weaknesses and NO questionable costs. 6-aUnfinishedinshed business to discuss,: A. Waiver of PILOT -received resolution (#2024-0 16) from the City Council of the City of Paris, Texas approving the partial waiver of $5177,.75 leavi*ng balance owed of $4462.69. 7. New Business: A.
