MINUTES OF <br />THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />MAY 17, 2024 <br />The Housing Authority of the City of Paris, Texas, Board of Commissioners met for a SPECIAL BOARD <br />MEETING at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at the Housing Authority of the City of Paris, Texas, <br />650 7th S.W. - Office, Conference Room, Paris, Texas 75460. <br />Present: Board Members: <br />Jenny Wilson, Vice Chairman <br />Steve Smith <br />Beverly Johnson <br />Derrick Hill <br />City Representative: <br />None <br />Interim Executive Director: <br />Allan Hubbard <br />Absent: T.K. Haynes <br />Call meeting to Order, Jenny Wilson, Vice Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, at 9:00 <br />a.m. <br />Quorum and members verified by Jenny Wilson, Vice Chairman of the Board of Commissioners. <br />3. Citizen's Forum: None present to speak. <br />4. Approval of Minutes from the May 14, 2024 regular meeting. <br />A Motion to approve this item was made by Board Member Steve Smith and seconded by Board <br />Member Derrick Hill. Motion carried, 4 ayes - 0 nays. <br />Unfinished Business: <br />To be addressed at the next Regular Board Meeting. <br />5. New Business: <br />• EXECUTIVE SESSION: <br />Jenny Wilson, Vice Chairman, closed the Open Session at 9:04 a.m. The Board of <br />Commissioners convened in Executive Session, pursuant to Section 551.087 of the Texas <br />Government Code to discuss applicants and possible hiring of an EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. <br />
