DECISION OF THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT, CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />RE: 800 W Center St- Variance Request <br />Alex Camunez <br />Westwood Professional Services, Inc. <br />7557 Rambler Rd, Suite 1400 <br />Dallas, TX 75231 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: 195 variance to required parking stalls to allow 185 parking stalls. <br />The above -referenced requests were ap roved by the City of Paris Zoning Board of Adjustment <br />("Board") Y q ayes, �..........�....... .. Y .. abstaining. <br />On this date, the Board found that the requests met the conditions set forth in the mmmm mm <br />City of Paris Off - <br />Street Parking and Loading Regulations Ordinance, Section 10-103(a). <br />Appeal: Any interested person wishing to appeal this Board decision is required to file a petition <br />for Writ of Certiorari in a district court, county court or county court at law within ten (10) days <br />of the date this decision is filed in the Board's office consistent with section 211.011 of the Texas <br />Local Government Code. <br />The Board of Adjustment hereby approves the variance request based upon the following condition <br />and findings of fact. <br />Condition <br />If parking situations in the future vary from the predictions of this parking study, that another <br />parking 'study be performed, at the property owner's expense to analyze the situation, and <br />provide additional parking based on the outcome of that study. The city would notify the <br />property owner in writing of any future issues and request that additional study. <br />EmAn s <br />The request for variance is in harmony with the general purposes and intent of Section 10-102 <br />Computing Parking and Loading Requirements. Staff agrees with the findings of the subject <br />property's parking study. Approval of this variance will not adversely affect the character of <br />the immediate vicinity of the area. <br />2. If approved, the smaller parking lot will reduce the impervious surfaces of the property and <br />will benefit the city with less runoff and potential stormwater issues. <br />3.
