8. Authorizing Signature of ED on Accounts: A Motion was made to approve changes to <br />checking account signers at Liberty National Bank #0111369 & 0111377: Add Executive <br />Director Stacia Waters: by Board Member Beverly Johnson and seconded by Board <br />Member Derrick Hill. Motion carried, 4 ayes — 0 nays. <br />9. Personnel Policy: After discussion a Motion was made to amend the Personnel Policy by <br />removing the provision under 6.13 Retirement Plan: Remove whereas the PHA would <br />continue to pay Retiring Employees Health Insurance until they are 65 or received other <br />insurance: by Board Member Derrick Hill and seconded by Board Member Steve Smith. <br />Motion carried, 4 ayes — 0 nays. <br />10. Computer Quote: ED advised BOC that the computers and software that is being used at <br />the PHA is the 2007 version and equipment needed for Zoom/Teams meeting is not <br />available, After discussion a Motion was made to accept PBS's quote for new computers: <br />by Board Member Beverly Johnson and seconded by Board Member Steve Smith. Motion <br />carried, 4 ayes — 0 nays <br />11. Budget FYE 6-30-2025: ED advised that the budget was going to need to be amended due <br />to the deficit it was currently showing. ED advised that she was evaluation services and <br />expenses that could possibly be reduced or removed completely. BOC acknowledged the <br />steps the ED would take. <br />12. THA Conference: ED presented the registration information for the THA Conference and the <br />BOC agreed that this year there were not enough travel funds to allow staff to attend, Vice <br />Chair Jenny Wilson asked ED if she could provide some training in the Fall and ED agreed <br />to do so. <br />13. Executive Directors Report: ED presented Directors Report to the Board of Commissioners <br />A. Occupancy Report: Waiting List and Vacancy information on Public Housing and Section <br />8 Vouchers. 15 vacancies in Public Housing and 297 vouchers utilized. <br />B. Evictions Report: 2 Evictions Pending, 2 Eviction Request in Review <br />C. Financial Report: Financial Information for May was mailed on 6-11-24 and was not <br />available for review at the time of the Board Meeting. <br />D. Capital Funds Report: 2024 CFP for $588,982.00 is not available for use yet. <br />E. ED gave an update on the changed and updates she is working on. ED explained she <br />still does not have access to HUD's VMS, EIV, or EPIC systems; therefore, she can not <br />address the reports that HUD is asking for or the corrections that need to be made., <br />
