Mr. Roddy asked <br />when the PEDC's loan with the City of Paris is due for adjustment. Mr. Coleman noted that the <br />adjustment would take place at the end of the 2024 year. There were no further questions. <br />Mr. Roddy made a motion to approve the financial statements as presented. Mr. Coleman seconded the <br />motion. <br />Vote: 4 -ayes to 0 -nays <br />Discuss and Consider Combined Nov./Dec. Board Meeting <br />Ms. Hammond noted that, due to the upcoming holidays, it would be in the best interest of the Board to <br />hold a combined meeting for the months of November and December. She proposed scheduling the <br />meeting on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. The consensus was to move forward with the proposed date <br />for a combined November/December board meeting. <br />Report and Updates by Executive Director Maureen Hammond <br />Highlights of Ongoing Projects: Ms. Hammond provided updates to multiple ongoing projects. She <br />opened her report by stating that LionsHead Wheel & Tire is currently on schedule to secure a certificate <br />of occupancy by the end of the year. She continued by noting that Huhtamaki's construction is on <br />schedule and expected to complete by March 2025. She further reported that TXDOT is scheduled to <br />complete construction during 2025. Ms. Hammond concluded this report by noting that the PEDC could <br />look forward to multiple grand openings within the next 6-8 months. <br />NW Industrial Park EDA Grant: Ms. Hammond began by thanking the Board for their attendance at the <br />NW Industrial Park Unveiling Ceremony. She noted that approximately 80 people were in attendance. <br />Ms. Hammond reported that the PEDC had received the first grant reimbursement payment from the <br />EDA. She reported that after the finalization of construction, a limited amount of contingency funds is <br />available for additional work within the business park. She noted that the PEDC was considering options <br />to utilize the remaining funds, providing examples of additional water lines, dirt work, and the possibility <br />of installing fiber internet on the property. Ms. Hammond closed her report by noting that the EDA grant <br />was expected to close within the next 60 days, pending completion of additional work determined for <br />the available contingency funds. <br />Ms. Hammond opened the floor to questions regarding her report.
