Discuss, conduct a public hearing, and act on ORDINANCE NO. 2024-037: AN <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, <br />AS HERETOFORE AMENDED, SO AS TO REZONE PROPERTY LOCATED IN <br />THE CITY OF PARIS, BLOCK 319, LOT 2, A7 W ASKINS SURVEY AND Al 003 H <br />WILLIAMS SURVEY, LCAD #50167, LOCATED ON FM 195 AND COMPRISING <br />.798 ACRES, AND OAK CREEK #1, BLOCK B, LOT PT OF 1, A7 W ASKINS <br />SURVEY AND A1003 H WILLIAMS SURVEY, LCAD #104799, ALSO LOCATED <br />ON FM 195 AND COMPRISING 1.122 ACRES FROM AN AGRICULTURAL (A) <br />DISTRICT TO A GENERAL RETAIL (GR) DISTRICT; DIRECTING CHANGES <br />ACCORDINGLY IN THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY; PROVIDING A <br />REPEALER CLAUSE, A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, A SAVINGS CLAUSE, A <br />PENALTY CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Planning Director Osei Amo-Mensah said the applicants were proposing the use of the <br />said residential dwelling as a medical office which was permitted under General Retail. He said <br />the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval, as did City Staff. <br />
