A motion was made by Commissioner Emmite, seconded by Commissioner Holzman, that item 4.B. $5, 000.00 <br />Grant application for Rebecca Norment be approved. Motion carried: Ayes 7; Nays 0 <br />5. Discussion and possible action on the following Certificate of Appropriateness application for property located in <br />HD 1, 122 Bonham ST, Property ID 13669, Jason Boehiar <br />A. Certificate of Appropriateness for splitting building into two suites using the side interior wall by adding 2 <br />exterior doors on an interior wall of 130 Bonham. (24-000052) <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Turk, seconded by Commissioner Emmite, that item 5.A the Certificate of <br />Appropriateness for splitting building into two suites using the side interior wall by adding 2 exterior doors on an <br />interior wall of 130 Bonham be denied. Motion carried: Ayes 7; Nays 0. The basis of the denial was due to the <br />plans to install new doors on a secondary fagade which would conflict with the primary fagade, and it reorients <br />the primary historic entrance. <br />Discussion and possible action on the following Certificate of Appropriateness application for property located in <br />HD 1, 101 Grand Ave., Property ID 13646, Jon Mallory <br />A. Certificate of Appropriateness for Sign (24-000049) <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Holtman, seconded by Commissioner Kee, to approve with condition that <br />the font be more traditional to the area and the sign's attachment to the structure be in such a way to not cause <br />damage to the brick. Motion carried: Ayes 7; Nays 0. <br />B. Application for Certificate of Appropriateness – Minor Exterior Alterations (sign on corner of building) <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Holtman, seconded by Commissioner Emmite, to deny the application <br />because the suggested location is not conducive to traditional locations of other signage. Motion carried: Ayes <br />7, Nays 0 <br />Amend and act upon $2,000.00 Fagade grant for Linda Knox, 655 Church ST (24-000024) <br />On a motion by Commissioner Holtman, seconded by Commissioner Emmite, Commissioner Knox was recused <br />from participating in the item. Motion carried: Ayes, 6; Nays 0 <br />A. Grant was posted for $1,000.00, and approved for $2,000.00 <br />On a motion by Commissioner , seconded by Commissioner , to approve the Fagade grant of $2, 000.00. <br />Motion carried: Ayes 6, Nays 0 <br />Update from sub -committee for the property located at 623 SE 6th Street that was removed from the Consent <br />Agenda at the August 14th meeting. <br />Commissioner Hadley reported that through conversations with the current owners, the confirmed ownersfell <br />through on the purchase but there is another entity interested in a purchase. There was no action taken; however, <br />this item will remain as a Future Agenda item for monthly follow up. <br />--CONSENT AGENDA— <br />(Items appearing on this consent agenda may be approved by a single vote of the Commission. with such <br />approval applicable to all items appearing on said agenda. If any Commission member desires to discuss and <br />consider separately any item appearing on the consent agenda, that Commission member may do so by requesting <br />that the item be removed from the consent agenda and considered as a separate item.) <br />
