NOTICE OF CONSIDERATION OF TAX ABATEMENT AGREEMENT Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Paris shall meet in regular session at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 2025 to consider a potential amendment to a tax abatement agreement dated October 1, 2018. The meeting will be held at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufinan Street, in Paris, Texas. 1. Owner of Property: American Spira]Weld Pipe Company, Ll -C. 2. Applicant: American Spira]Weld Pipe Company, LLC. The Name and Location of the Reinvestment Zone: Pursuant to the 2020 Census, the Property within City of Paris, Lainar County, Texas, is included within an Enterprise Zone, which pursuant to the Texas Enterprise Zone Act (Texas Government Code Chapter 2303) and the Redevelopment and Tax Abatement Act (Texas Tax Code Sec. 312.2011) also constitutes designation of the area as a reinvestment zone. The Reinvestment Zone is inside Northwest Loop 286 in Northwest Paris, Census Block Group 48277000700. A General Description of the Nature of the Improvements or Repairs: The 2018 Tax Abatement Agreement provided for a capital investment of between $72,000,000.00 and $91,000,000.00 which has been completed and included construction of a state of the art facility for the manufacture of pipe using the spiral weld method. The proposed amendment will change the date by which improvements were to have been completed to take into account global supply chain issues occasioned by the 2020-2021 COVID 19 pandemic. 2. The Estimated Cost of the Improvements or Repairs: No new investment associated with this amendment.
