NOTICE OF CONSIDERATION OF TAX ABATEMENT AGREEMENT <br />Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Paris will meet in regular session <br />at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025 to consider a potential residential tax abatement <br />agreement as set forth below. The meeting will be held at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. <br />Kaufman Street, in Paris, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted upon are as follows: <br />1. Owner of Property: City of Paris as Trustee <br />Applicant: EXL Capital Group, LLC <br />2. The Name and Location of the Reinvestment Zone: Investment Zone 2025-1, <br />encompassing the entirety of the corporate limits of the City of Paris, Texas. Properties <br />to be included in the abatement are: <br />• LCAD- 13833, 128 NE 10th St., City of Paris Block 32-13, Lot 10 <br />• LCAD- 13802, 203 NE 13th St., City of Paris Block 32, Lot 7 <br />• LCAD- 13867, 1405 E. Houston, City of Paris Block 33-A, Lot 7 <br />• LCAD- 10706, 1758 W. Shiloh, Colonial Addition Block 5, Lot 10 <br />• LCAD- 10707, W. Shiloh, Colonial Addition Block 5, Lot 11 <br />3. A General Description of the Nature of the Improvements or Repairs: Construction <br />of 5 single-family homes under the City's 5 in 5 Residential Infill Development <br />Program <br />4. The Estimated Cost of the Improvements or Repairs: $130,000.00--$150,000.00 per <br />unit. <br />Certification <br />I certify that the above notice of meeting was posted on the bulletin board in the City Hall Annex, 150 1 st <br />SE,lParis, Ye'xas and on the City's website at www.paristexas.gov, no later than 5:30 p.m. on March 26, <br />City <br />Special Accommodations <br />This facility is wheelchair accessible and accessible parking spaces are available.
