A Motion to table this item was made by Council Member Kessel and seconded by Council Member Ellis. Motion carried, 6 ayes — 0 nays. 22. Discuss and act on a Policy and Guidelines for filming in Paris, Texas. Mr. Vine said Lisa Mikitarian presented a draft document at the March 10 City Council meeting. He also said she reported that a major vehicle manufacturer was coming to film a commercial in Paris and it would be helpful to have a policy in place for the film project and future projects. A Motion to approve the presented policy and guidelines was made by Council Member Ellis and seconded by Council Member Norment. Motion carried, 6 ayes — 0 nays. 23. Convene into executive session pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, Consultation with Attorney, to receive legal advice from the City Attorney about (1) pending or contemplated litigation and/or (2) on matters in which the duty of an attorney to her client under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflict with this chapter, to -wit: City of Paris v. Essent PRMC and other potential litigation. Mayor Pankaj convened City Council into executive session at 6:30 p.m. Mayor Pankaj and Council Member Norment recused themselves from the executive session with regard to City of Paris v. Essent PRMC. At 6:33 p.m. Mayor Pankaj and Council Member Norment went into executive session to hear about potential litigation from the City Attorney. 24. Reconvene into open session and possibly take action on those matters discussed in executive session. Mayor Pankaj reconvened City Council into open session and announced there was no action to be taken. 25. Consider and approve future events for City Council and/or City Staff pursuant to Resolution No. 2004-081, and announcement of City and/or Lamar County Chamber sponsored events in Paris. Mayor Pro -Tem Savage said he would like to hear at a future meeting about the plans for the old trash trucks, their value, and whether or not the City planned to keep the trucks. Mayor Pankaj said he would like to receive a presentation about residential rental inspections at a future meeting.
