Board of Adjustment Meeting <br />March 18, 2025 <br />Page Z <br />MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEETING <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />MARCH 18, 2025 <br />The Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris met for a regular session at 12 p.m. on March <br />18, 2025, at the City of Paris- City Hall, Council Chambers located at 107 E Kaufman St. <br />Present: Board Members: David Hamilton, William Sanders, Ben Vaughan, Richard <br />Thompson and Harley Draven. <br />City Representative: Stephanie Harris and Osei Arno-Mensah. <br />Absent: None <br />1. The Board ofAdjustment meeting was called to order by Chairman David Hamilton, at <br />12: 00 p. m. <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (January 7, 2025) <br />Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Harley Draven to approve minutes for <br />the January 7, 2025 meeting. Motion carried 5 ayes — 0 nays. <br />3. Public hearing to consider and take action on the petition of Bradon Oram of MBJ <br />Investments, on behalf of Naseem Ahmed, regarding an 8' variance to Build Line that <br />fronts Carson Lane as indicated on the plat on Lots 14-19, Block A, of the Johnson moods <br />Estates, being located at 2905 Clarksville Street. <br />David Hamilton opened the public hearing. <br />Director of Planning and Zoning, Osei Amo-Mensah presented case to board. <br />Bradon Oram, applicant, clarified that the need for the variance is to clear up the <br />information needed for the title to complete the purchase. The building is existing, and no <br />changes are proposed. <br />No one else spoke in favor or opposition of the request. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Richard Thompson to approve the 8' <br />variance to the 30' Build Line the fronts Carson Lane as indicated on the Plat based on the <br />following findings. Motion carried 5 ayes - 0 nays. <br />FINDINGS: <br />
