April 21, 2025—Special City Council Meeting -2"d Public Hearing <br />May 12, 2025—City Council Meeting—Act on ordinance to disannex (day 77 from institution of <br />disannexation proceedings) <br />BUDGET: The requested disannexation would deprive the City of the property tax revenue for <br />the disannexed property, at this time, given the lack of development an Ag exemptions on most of <br />the parcels, those revenues are minimal, but could go up substantially if the property is ever <br />developed depending on the nature of that development. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Conduct the first public hearing on the petitions for disannexation. <br />
