(Owner of CEFCO) to rebuild 7"' Street <br />SW into a concrete roadway. Due to the heavy truck traffic, the asphalt roadway will not support <br />the heavy loads. Fikes Wholesale has agreed to split the cost 50/50 with the City to get this project <br />done. The partnership splits construction, geotechnical testing ($5895), and Yd party materials <br />testing during construction (Estimated to be $5000). <br />City of Paris called for bids for the project in the Paris News on May 6 and May 13, 2025. Bids <br />were opened on June 2, 2025 at 2:OOPM. Three responsive bids were received for the project. <br />Pridemore Construction, LLC from Paris, TX. was the Low Bidder, 2nd was Richard Drake <br />Construction from Paris, TX., 3rd was Drake General Contractors, LLC. <br />Low bid was $301,243.50. It is the City Engineer's recommendation to award the project to <br />Pridemore Construction, LLC of Paris, TX. <br />STATUS OF ISSUE: <br />Bid Analysis is attached for detailed information about the bid. <br />Pridemore Construction, LLC - $301,243.50 <br />Richard Drake Construction - $348,063.38 <br />Drake Companies, LLC - $377,096.79 <br />The project is located on 7t" Street SW from Loop 286 south to the CEFCO second entrance. This <br />will be a full depth concrete replacement project and is a 50/50 share with CEFCO South. <br />
