K. <br />III <br />Building and Standards Meeting <br />May 19, 2025 <br />Page 5 <br />Robert Talley stated they were caught working without a permit. There is building <br />materials around property that are old and new. There is also limbs and brush on <br />the property as well. The structure is unsecure. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, demo shed within 30 <br />days or city has the right to do so. <br />Motion made by Chris Dux, seconded by Alexander Moore, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 4-0 <br />6462 nd NE; City of Paris, Block 73, Lot 1.6-A <br />Owner: Jimmy Furtch; 75 29t' SW, Paris, TX 75460 <br />Robert Talley stated owner has not hauled off the remains of a burnt structure. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, remove junk and <br />rubbish within 30 days or city has the right to do so. <br />Motion made by Kim Walker, seconded by Chris Dux, to follow staff <br />recommendation. Motion carried unanimously. 4-0 <br />358 13`h SW & 348 13th SW; Sperry's 2" d Addition, Block 1, Lots 21 & E PT of 20 <br />Owner: Mildred Gilbert; 301255 E 1790 Rd, Duncan, OK 73533 <br />Robert Talley stated the structure is a total burnout. There is junk and rubbish all <br />over the property including litter, building material, buckets, trash cans, old <br />furniture, clothes, dilapidated fencing and other scattered items. There is a camper <br />that someone is living in on the backside of the property. <br />Robert Talley's recommendation: Declare a nuisance, removal of junk and <br />rubbish and outside storage within 30 days, removal of camper within 30 <br />days, and vacate property within 30 days, or city has the right to do so. <br />Motion made by Chris Dux, seconded by Ken Kohls, to follow staff recommendation. <br />Motion carried unanimously. 4-0 <br />4.
