MINUTES OF THE BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION MEETING <br />OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS <br />MAY 19, 2025 <br />The Building and Standards Commission of the City of Paris met for a regular session at 3:00 p.m. <br />on Monday, May 19, 2025, at the City of Paris Council Chambers, 107 E. Kaufman St., Paris, <br />TX 75460. <br />Present: Board Members: Kim Walker <br />Chris DUX <br />Ken Kohls <br />Alexander Moore <br />Absent: Brandon Kearney <br />A. W "Plug" Clem <br />City Representatives: Rob Vine — Deputy City Manager <br />Robert Talley — Code Enforcement Supervisor <br />Jacie Brown — Code Enforcement <br />Osei Amo-Mensah — Director of Planning and <br />Community Development <br />Stephanie Harris — City Attorney <br />Clyde Crews — Fire Marshal <br />Call meeting to order. <br />Kim Walker, Vice Chair, called the meeting to order at 3:01p.m. <br />2. Approve minutes from the meeting of March 17, 2025. <br />Motion made by Chris Dux, seconded by Kim Walker, to approve minutes. <br />Motion carried unanimously. 4-0 <br />Public Hearing to consider presentations by City of Paris Code Inspectors and owner(s) <br />and/or lien holder(s) of the below properties who have been given notice of a violation of <br />Chapter 4, Article 4.03 entitled "Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures;" <br />Chapter 7, Article 7.04 entitled "Weeds, Junk, and Other Objectionable, Unsightly, or <br />Unsanitary Matter on Private Premises;" Chapter 8, Article 8.10 entitled "Outdoor <br />Storage;" Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, TX: <br />
