PUBLISH ONCE: <br />THURSDAY, August 28, 2025 <br />LEGAL NOTICE <br />In compliance with the Charter of the City of Paris, Texas, and <br />Vernon's Texas Codes Annotated, Local Government Code, <br />Section 102.006(b), notice is hereby given that a Public <br />Hearing on the Proposed Tax Rate for the City of Paris for the <br />fiscal year beginning October 1, 2025, and ending September <br />30, 2026, will be conducted by the City Council on the 8th day <br />of September, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, <br />107 E. Kaufman Street, Paris, Texas. <br />The proposed tax rate will raise more total property taxes <br />than last year's rate by $1,227,365 or 10.62%, and of that <br />amount $140,566 is tax revenue to be raised from new <br />property added to the roll this year.
