The proposed tax rate was discussed by the City Council during its August I I" <br />Council meeting. <br />STATUS OF ISSUE: The City Council needs to conduct a public hearing on the 2025-26 <br />proposed City tax rate on September 8, 2025. A legal notice of the public hearing has been <br />published in the Paris News. A copy of the proposed property tax rate can be found on the City <br />website. <br />BUDGET: N/A <br />RECOMMENDATION: Conduct the public hearing on the proposed 2025-26 City tax rate. <br />
